As you know the NSW Government announced much needed and helpful $12.6 million package to support the taxi industry on 22 May. This package is designed to provide operators some financial relief during the challenging time of COVID-19 and help taxis remain on the road by reducing some operating costs including the CTP, registration, insurances, financial support for WAT vehicle owners, holders of annual renewable Taxi licence to name a few.
Taxi operators may be eligible for up to $2,900 of support funds per taxi.
Be aware that if you have de-registered your vehicles prior to 1 May 2020 you may not be eligible for the support package.
